MNFCC Team Endures Tough Challenge

Jason Giller • Aug 02, 2022

Ahead of their next race, the Coventry Olympic Group Sportive on 28 August, Marnie and Toni took part in major endurance challenges over the weekend.

Toni took part in her first ever British Cycling Women’s category 3 – 4 road race in Gloucestershire and came 2nd place overall. Congratulations to Toni!

Marnie also took part in a 255km triathlon, held at the Goodwood Motor Circuit, West Sussex. Competing as part of a relay team of three, this event saw them endure a 5km swim, 200km bike ride and a 50km run.

Whilst Toni and Marnie were busy competing and raising awareness, James and Ab have been training in preparation for the next race.

James has been working on medium hilly distances, whilst Ab has been combining hills and flat fast courses at middle and long distances.

If you would like to donate and support the MNFCC fundraiser, please see our Local Giving page.

All donations will go directly to the Mavis Nye Foundation and are very much appreciated.
